Today the Lesson Problem set pdf files posted for part B. You will find all the section B.1 problem set files in the zip file at the beginning of that section, and the section B.2, section B.3 problem sets at the beginnings of those sections and so on.
The Solutions tab for the 2015-2016 lessons has also been completed. This tab allows you to navigate to the video solutions for the problems in a way that corresponds to the 2015-2016 lesson problem set pdf files. It is already tied into the problem system and the forum as well.
For those of you using the problem system, no changes are needed. If you want to have a paper version of the problems to refer back to, though, you can get that now.
But if you are currently using the pdf files from the 2014 lessons to work problems, you should consider changing to the pdf files for the 2015 lessons. The problems in these files correspond exactly to the material in each lesson, and the problems that are first pass problems in the problem system are also labelled as first pass problems in the pdf files.
As always when something new is posted, please let us know if you notice anything that seems out of place!

TIA recently attended the Midwest Actuarial Student Conference. At the conference we posted a challenge problem. Here is the problem and solution.
Sorry, but we got a little behind on the 2015 lessons. We are working really hard to get the lessons done ASAP, but we want to make sure they are as good as possible. I have adjusted the deadlines for the remaining sections. Everything was pushed back about a week. Remember you can always watch the 2014 version of the lessons if necessary.

On slide 4, the frequency F02 should be 1 instead of 2. A corrected version of the handouts for A.2 is now available.
The new lessons for B.6 Basic Insurance Strategies (2015) are now available.
The new lessons for B.5 Summary of Forwards, Calls and Puts (2015) are now available. The lessons for B.3 Call Options (2015) and B.4 Put Options (2015) have also been recently made available.
